The undergraduate research center (URC) helps students set themselves apart from their peers, improve their resumes and gain real-world experience. Participating in research transforms the college experience into a richer, more involved academic process for both students and faculty. It sparks creativity, opens doors to new ideas, and helps forge mentorship relationships that nurture a lifelong love of learning.
Our students and faculty thrive in a community of scholars where knowledge is combined with the passion to achieve great things. Within this community, faculty and students work together as they apply their knowledge to solve real–world problems.
The Honors program includes classes designed specifically for honors students as well as a variety of co-curricular activities to enrich those classroom experiences. Students will have the opportunity to work with mentors, to take part in the University’s Undergraduate Research Conference and to be involved in a number of other events, seminars and activities on and off campus.
